With about 1800 session proposals submitted through our public Call for Papers for Techorama 2026, that’s a fair question and one we’re happy to answer this here.
Shaping the best possible agenda
From ideas to sessions: how it works
When the public Call for Papers closes, we’re left with an impressive collection of proposals from speakers all over the world.
These talks cover a wide range of topics, from software development and architecture to cloud, data, AI, and everything in between.
Each submission is carefully reviewed by a selection committee made up of experienced community members and organizers. THe common goal is simple: identify sessions that will bring the most value to the Techorama audience.
The entire team looks at things like:
- Relevance for our audience
- Technical depth and clarity
- Originality and practical takeaways
- How well the topic fits within the overall conference themes
- Speaker experience, video recordings, technical expertise, ...
A collaborative and fair selection process
The process is deliberately collaborative. Committee members nominate the sessions they believe stand out, followed by multiple rounds of review and voting.
This helps surface the strongest talks while avoiding decisions based on a single opinion.
Once a shortlist emerges, we take a step back and look at the big picture.
Building a balanced agenda
A great conference isn’t just about individual talks. It’s about the experience as a whole.
That’s why the final agenda is carefully balanced to ensure:
- a healthy mix of topics and tracks
- sessions for different experience levels
- a diverse group of speakers and perspectives minimal overlap in content
- Only then do we arrive at the final lineup that will shape your Techorama experience.
What’s coming next
Right now, we’re in the final stages of this process: fine-tuning, validating, and scheduling sessions.
📅 The full Techorama agenda will be gradually published in the coming weeks, and we’re confident it will reflect the quality, depth, and diversity you expect from the conference every single year.
We expect to announce the first set of 60 sessions on February 12. Afterwards we will announce more confirmed sessions and speakers.
Due to the high number of quality submissions, not every proposal can be included. All speakers will receive a final update once the Techorama 2026 agenda has been fully published.
